Weekly Topics & Tools:
Week 1 – Feb 25, 2026
Life After Treatment: Why This Transition Is So Hard
Life after treatment is often more difficult than people expect. This session normalizes the emotional whiplash many survivors feel and challenges the idea that you should automatically feel grateful or “back to normal.”
Tool we’ll practice:
Learning how to stop fighting reality and meet this phase of life as it actually is, rather than how we think it should be.
Week 2 – Mar 4, 2026
Identity After Cancer: “Who Am I Now?”
Cancer can disrupt how you see yourself — your roles, priorities, and sense of identity. This session explores who you were, who you became during treatment, and who you are now.
Tool we’ll practice:
Learning to listen to both your emotions and your logic when making decisions about who you are becoming.
Week 3 – Mar 11, 2026
Fear of Recurrence & Living With Uncertainty
Fear of recurrence is common and understandable. This session helps distinguish between fear that protects you and fear that takes over.
Tool we’ll practice:
A simple pause-and-respond approach to help you slow down anxiety before it spirals.
Week 4 – Mar 18, 2026
Body Image, Scars, and Reclaiming the Body
This session addresses body grief, self-criticism, comparison, and the experience of living in a body that has been medicalized.
Tool we’ll practice:
Learning how to acknowledge and validate your feelings about your body instead of minimizing or criticizing them.
Week 5 – Mar 25, 2026
Relationships After Cancer
Cancer often changes relationships with partners, family, and friends. This session explores shifting roles, unmet needs, resentment, and boundaries.
Tool we’ll practice:
A clear, respectful way to ask for what you need and set limits without over-explaining or feeling guilty.
Week 6 – Apr 1, 2026
Fatigue, Brain Fog, and Invisible Struggles
Many survivors continue to experience exhaustion and cognitive changes long after treatment ends. This session validates those struggles and the grief around productivity and pace.
Tool we’ll practice:
Understanding how caring for your body supports emotional balance, and how to reduce shame around rest and limitations.
Week 7 – Apr 8, 2026
Meaning, Purpose, and “What Now?”
Cancer often changes what matters. This session explores meaning without pressure to find a “silver lining.”
Tool we’ll practice:
Clarifying personal values and connecting them to small, realistic actions that bring purpose into everyday life.
Week 8 – Apr 15, 2026
Emotional Swings, Anger, and Grief That Lingers
Many emotions show up after treatment ends — including anger, sadness, and emotional swings that feel confusing or unexpected.
Tool we’ll practice:
Learning to accurately name emotions so they feel less overwhelming and easier to understand.
Week 9 – Apr 22, 2026
Rebuilding Confidence and Trust in Yourself
Medical trauma can leave survivors doubting their instincts and decisions. This session focuses on rebuilding self-trust.
Tool we’ll practice:
Separating facts from fear so anxiety doesn’t automatically drive decisions.
Week 10 – Apr 29, 2026
Work, Money, and Productivity After Cancer
Work and finances can feel especially charged after cancer. This session explores shifting definitions of success and self-worth.
Tool we’ll practice:
Gently moving toward what matters instead of letting shame or fear lead to avoidance.
Week 11 – May 6, 2026
Creating a Life That Supports Your Healing
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. This session looks at routines, support systems, joy, and sustainability.
Tool we’ll practice:
Preparing ahead of time for emotionally difficult situations so you feel more supported and less reactive.
Week 12 – May 13, 2026
Integration, Looking Forward, and Honoring the Journey
The final session focuses on integration — honoring what you’ve been through while looking toward the future.
Tool we’ll practice:
Making choices that align with your values, boundaries, and self-respect as you move forward.
